The vast majority of the Mazarine Library's current acquisitions concern printed documents, monographs and serials. Patrimonial acquisitions may concern other types of documents, such as manuscripts or iconographic documents. Documents are acquired in a single copy.

Our acquisitions policy focuses on historical disciplines: medieval and modern history, local and regional history of France, the history of books and publishing, the history of libraries, and other sciences ancillary to history (palaeography, heraldry and genealogy).

New titles are regularly added to our collections, and can be found in our online catalogue.
