The Mazarine is a public library, it is open to all, on presentation of valid identification (passport, national ID card, driver's licence, short- or long-term residency permit) and parental permission for readers under 18.

Registration is done at the Library during opening hours:

• Annual card: € 15 (cash or credit card paiement)
• Free pass valid for five consecutive days, non renewable within the year
  Professional staff of French archives, libraries and museums are exonerated from annual registration fees.

The library card is required to obtain a seat. The reissue of a lost card will be charged 12€ (except upon presentation of proof of theft declaration).
