Bibliothèque Mazarine - Cliché Guillaume De Smedt (CC-by-nc-nd)

Visit the Library

The Mazarine Library's gallery and exhibitions can be visited when the library is open to the public (Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm). Visitors are asked not to disturb the readers. Brochures are available at the reception desk (Library Guide or Children's Guide).

The library organises free guided tours, for individual visitors only. Conducted by a curator at the end of the day, they last about an hour and a half and focus on the history of the library and its collections, buildings, resources and services. Forthcoming visits are noted in the diary and under Tours. Visitors can register on the website.

Secondary school and university students are welcome at the Mazarine Library. Introductory tours and user training sessions (general or on particular themes) can be organised from Monday to Friday, preferably before 10 am or after 5.30 pm. For more details, see Information for teachers.

Group visits

Theme visits may be organised on request for groups or associations, from Monday to Friday, preferably outside opening hours. Please Contact the Library.
